Was bietet repropool an?
repropool bietet hochwertige Digitalisate historischer Abbildungen an. Dabei ist das Angebot auf das Thema Musik beschränkt. Neben Fotografien, Gemälden, Stichen und Lithografien von Personen befinden sich auch Werke der Bildenden Kunst im Angebot. repropool setzt dabei nicht auf Masse, sondern auf Qualität und Originalität. Dennoch wächst das Angebot stetig weiter an. Die Digitalisate sind bereits digital bereinigt, begradigt und beschnitten, so dass sie direkt in Ihr Projekt eingebunden werden können.
Warum sind die Preise für die Digitalisate verschieden?
Der Kommissionspreis für eine Digitalkopie errechnet sich aus dem Grundpreis für das Scannen und die digitale Bearbeitung zuzüglich zweier prozentualer Zuschläge für die Qualität des Originals und die Seltenheit der Abbildung. Die Abmessungen einer Vorlage oder Dateigröße spielen für den Kommissionspreis daher keine Rolle.
Sind die Abbildungen rechtefrei?
repropool bietet ausschließlich Abbildungen an, deren Schutzfrist abgelaufen ist. Dies gilt entsprechend für die verwendeten historischen Quellen. Daher brauchen vor der Benutzung der Digitalisate keine weiteren Rechte Dritter eingeholt werden.
Warum müssen die Abbildungen lizenziert werden?
Um Digitalisate in hoher Qualität bereitstellen zu können, sind Investitionen nötig, die über die Lizenzgebühren kompensiert werden. Die Lizenzgebühr bezieht sich dabei nicht auf das Motiv einer Abbildung, sondern auf die Art und die Dauer der Nutzung eines Digitalisates in einem kommerziellen Umfeld. Auch wenn eine digitale Kopie nicht kommerziell genutzt wird, ist eine kostenlose aber dennoch rechtsverbindliche Lizenz (Basislizenz) notwendig. Wie errechnen sich die Lizenzpreise?
Die Preise für die Lizenzen errechnen sich aus dem Kommissionspreis und dem ausgewählten Lizenztyp.
Ist Zahlung auf Rechnung möglich?
Nein. Die Digitalisate und die Lizenzen können grundsätzlich nur elektronisch bezahlt werden.
Wie werden die Abbildungen geliefert?
Die Abbildungen können nach dem erfolgreichen Bezahlvorgang über einen Link heruntergeladen werden. Auch die Rechnung und die genauen Lizenzbedingungen werden Ihnen per E-Mail im PDF-Format zugesandt.
What does reporopool offer?
repropool offers high-quality digital copies of historical images. The offer is limited to the subject of music. In addition to photographs, paintings, engravings and lithographs of people, the offer also includes works of fine art. repropool does not focus on mass, but on quality and originality. Nevertheless, the offer is constantly expanding. The digitized files are already digitally cleaned, straightened and cropped so that they can be directly integrated into your project.
Why are the prices for the digital copies different?
The commission price for a digital copy is calculated from the basic price for scanning and digital processing plus two percentage surcharges for the quality of the original and the rarity of the image. The dimensions of an original or the file size do not play a role in the commission price.
Are the images free of rights?
repropool only offers images whose protection period has expired. This applies accordingly to the historical sources used. Therefore, no further third-party rights need to be obtained before using the digitised images.
Why do the images need to be licensed?
In order to be able to provide digitised material in high quality, investments are necessary which are compensated by the licence fees. The licence fee does not refer to the motif of an image, but to the type and duration of use of a digital copy in a commercial environment. How are the license prices calculated?
The prices for the licences are calculated from the commission price and the selected licence type.
Is payment on invoice possible?
No. The digital copies and the licenses can only be paid and electronically.
How are the digital copies delivered?
The images can be downloaded via a after the successful payment process. Also the invoice and the exact license terms will be sent via email in PDF format.
Do I get a refund of the VAT?
Orders to other EU countries are exempt from VAT. After the payment process, an informal application for a refund of the VAT can be made. The VAT will be refunded immediately after successful verification of the customer's VAT number.
